I used the product per specifications. Didn't like the consistency. I should have listened to previous reviews...ever since Coty took over this line, it isn't as good as it once was. No more Philosophy skin care products for me. I think I'm paying for the name. Absolutely cannot compete with Murad products.

This is the 2nd bottle I have bought of this product and I still love it. Although pricey, it makes my skin so soft and makes makeup look better on my face. Even after the first use, I noticed more smooth and firmer/tighter skin the next day and less of a dry T-zone. My only con is that the smell is a very medicated smell, but it doesnt last long. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a good daily moisturizer and anti-aging product. I do believe it works and is worth the money!

What is the percentage of vitamin C in this product. It's the ninth ingredient from the end of the list so I don't imagine there's much at all. How much Vitamin E does the product contain?

                    A:

the vitamin c in this product comes from the vitamin c8 activator that is mixed with the dna renewal complex. the dna renewal complex on its own does not contain much vitamin c. the percentage of vitamin c and e in our products is proprietary and we are unable to provide this information.

I have normal to dry skin with my concerns being crow's feet, lines under my eyes and dark circles. I bought the time in a bottle for eyes a few months ago after sampling it in the store. Today I went and bought the time in a bottle face serum to add to my regimen. In which order do I apply them? I also received a sample of miracle worker anti aging retinol eye repair with my purchase. Can this be used with the two time in a bottle products? I look forward to adding a moisturizer from philosophy to my regimen soon.

                    A:

we recommend applying time in a bottle serum and time in a bottle for eyes on clean, dry skin. your final step in your skin care regimen would be applying your moisturizer of choice, along with your eye cream of choice.

I am currently using Time in a Bottle, which has a potent vitamin C, I am also mixing the Vitamin C Boost Powder with my moisturizer in the morning, is this overkill on the vitamin C?? Today I purchased the When Hope is not Enough Serum, instead of Time in a Bottle, I don't know if I made the right choice. Please help!!
I want to use the product that best helps my 52 yr old skin.

                    A:

if you are experiencing the advanced signs of aging, we recommend using time in a botlle alone, each morning. the when hope is not enough serum mixed with the turbo booster c powder will only address the beginning signs of aging.

The order of application would be: Time in a Bottle, your moisturizer, and then your foundation. Time in a Bottle serves as your treatment serum that provides antioxidant protection against the signs of aging. It can be used daily and/or nightly underneath your moisturizer.

Time In A Bottle is an antioxidant & DNA complex high performance serum that does not contain any exfoliation ingredients. Our protocol is to use Time In A Bottle in the morning underneath your preferred Philosophy sunscreen and at night use one of Philosophy's High Performance (HPR) Retinoids. That said, while using any prescription medications or topical creams, we recommend to ask your doctor.

This serum is formulated to address advanced signs of aging and is ideal to treat wrinkles, loss of firmness, and uneven skin tone. The high-potency vitamin C8 activator targets discoloration and will help to fade any age spots for a brightened complexion.

Why isn't this product just the high potency serum instead of having to mix it with the "lotion" it seems the little bottle of intense ingredients would be easier to use and would produce results sooner. Is it since it is so expensive customers want more product for their money?

                    A:

Philosophy designed the Fresh Pour System because it allows for the highest level of potency and efficacy by activating product before the first use by pouring the Vitamin C8 into the DNA Renewal Complex. The "lotion" part contains the key technology of the DNA Repair enzymes; this helps erase the signs of aging below the surface and also help to minimize the appearance of dullness, enlarged pores, uneven texture lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness. The Vitamin C8 in the Fresh Pour System helps to provide maximum protection against environmental assaults (smog, pollution, etc.). The Fresh Pour System ensures product efficacy each and every time.
