Having used this mirror for a year or two I can't imagine living without it. Perfect for when wearing glasses isn't an option...like when applying eyeliner and mascara. I have not found the light to add much to the mirror and seldom use it. Kept forgetting to turn it off when I first got the mirror.

I returned this and got the Jerdon standing mirror instead. This was too small for everyday home use, but would be very nice for travel - if I ever traveled :)

operates as intended. not a good replacement for a tabletop mirror, but excellent for travel. since the light is only on one side, it's sometimes hard to aim at what you're trying to see. suction cups work well on mirror for up-close magnification.
