It's not very soft but it's fine if your looking for a cheap brush to use everyday. I wouldn't suggest you use it for fine powder like bare minerals because it doesn't spread very evenly.

I was looking for a moderately priced brush to apply baked mineral foundation - should have spent a few more $$$. The bristles are stiff and they shed, leaving little black hairs on my face.

This brush was ineffective. It was too soft to use in applying a coat of makeup. It did not pick up my mineral make up nor brush it on smoothly. I took it back.

I bought this brush about a week ago. This brush is easy to handle . Only bad thing about this brush is it sheds. Other wise I love it.

I use this for all-over mineral powder coverage. It's good for everyday and also small enough to throw in a bag and take with you. It's soft and inexpensive...does the trick!
