Comments about Boots Botanics Triple Age Renewal Night Cream:

I put this on over my entire face and neck after washing my face before going to bed (which the directions on the package say to do). I absolutely LOVE the smell of this product but when i found that when i woke up i had developed many tiny bumps on and above my jawline on the right side of my face. The bumps were not visible to the naked eye but after touching and trying to squeeze(pop?) them the whole area turned red and hot but did not itch for a few minutes. I did not have a rash on the rest of my face or neck though. I was luckily able to cover the area with my foundation.I do not have sensitive skin and i am thinking that it may be the fragrance that irritated my face. I have never had this kind of reaction to anything in my life and i have tried many products but this is my first night cream that i have ever used. I would feel bad recommending this to anyone because of the rash that can develop. I will continue to use this product but i will avoid my jaw area from now on.

      From Boots:

"No animal testing of any kind is undertaken or commissioned by Boots or its subsidiary businesses. We recognize that until satisfactory replacements are available, some animal tests will be carried out by others to meet regulatory requirements and protect public health. These safety tests sometimes involve ingredients used in products manufactured and sold by subsidiary businesses. We would like to see an end to all animal tests and we give financial and technical support to the development and introduction of alternative forms of safety testing. We cannot comment on behalf of 3rd parties."
