Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

Though I am a budget buyer, I am willing to spend more on a good foundation since I have sensitive skin and acne scars and am very acne prone. I have used Neutrogena, Pur Minerals, and Bareminerals powder foundations and this is by far the best. The Neutrogena powder foundation did not give me good coverage, and Pur Minerals and Bareminerals (for some reason) did not have the exact foundation color that matched my Asian skin. Tarte had the color that was almost exactly my skin color, which I was very impressed by! Besides having the right color, I noticed that the Tarte foundation has a very light, airy feeling to it and does not feel cakey when applied, compared to the Pur Minerals and Bareminerals powder foundations that I used. The foundation looks very natural when applied as well. In addition, it is also very gentle on the skin and I have both eczema and acne, and the foundation does not cause me to get dry skin or break out. It's an amazing product!

I love this foundation. I do not like to use liquid foundation- it feels too heavy on my face. This powder covers like a liquid, I just use under eye concealer and concealer on any blemishes or dark spots then blend the powder over it. Followed by a bronzing power and blush!

I have sensitive skin and their are few brands of powder I can use many will give me a rash. I decided to try this one because I knew I could use the eyeshadow and I had 5x the points on the brand when I purchased. It was a great decision. I feel like this evens out my complexion and makes me look photoshopped I love it.

I have oily skin and wanted to try out a powder. I went to ulta and she recommended me this product. The first day i used it i used a mac primer and about 2 hours later my oil was all up in my face. The next day i used my beloved BECCA primer and even with that it looked a mess on my face. I love liquid foundations and really wanted to make this work but it obviously was not meant for me

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I have tried many foundations that just did not work for me. Either it caused my face to breakout (just about all of them did), or it looked caked on. I always wanted to find a foundation that looked natural, but provided the coverage that I needed. I seen that Tarte had a powder foundation (I had tried the Tarte liquid foundation and loved it. It was a little too much coverage for what I wanted for an everyday look though). Even though I had a fear that a powder would cause dry, cracked looking skin, I thought I would give it a try. I am so very glad that I did! I finally found the perfect foundation!!! The Tarte powder foundation goes on smooth. It's not heavy, cakey feeling, or drying to my skin. The most important part is that it does not break my skin out either! This foundation definitely does what it says.....it gives an airbrushed look. The best thing about using this powder foundation is that I can decide how much coverage that I want for the day! It brushes on so smooth and evenly that it makes building the foundation up on the skin so easy and flawless. It's nice to have the option to wear it in a light coverage or heavier if needed. This is my 2nd purchase of this foundation and I can't see me buying anything other than this for a foundation. I love it!

Thanks for reaching out! This product lasts for 12 hours so it should stay on pretty good, with or without a setting spray! It's waterproof but we recommend not submerging your face in water if you want it to stay on the full day. It's more waterproof against sweat, rain, etc.

I use the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer in the fairest shade, and it is a near perfect match for my very pale skin. I am currently wearing Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in "Fair," (which is the lightest shade TF offers) to set my makeup, and it's a teeny tiny hint too dark and too orange on my skin. Is the shade "Fair Honey" in this foundation comparable to the lightest shade in the Tarte tinted moisturizer? Thank you!
