Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

this gives more hold than the spray, but is sticky at first and then dries a little harder than I'd like. once dry, you can run your fingers through it and it loosens up. lasts all day and smells amazing!

Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

I am growing my hair out from a short hair cut of many years. I didn't know what to do with my hair and a friend showed me Beach Babe and how to use it. It really helped control my growing long out of control wild wavy hair and it smells so good! I use less than my friend showed me to use because I don't like it so stiff, but it does look real good and controls my hair very well.

Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

I bought this along with the curl defining cream and the moose all by Not Your Mother's. I tried this one out first. I took a regular shower and washed my hair (shampoo and conditioner) I then put my hair in a towel for a good 5 minutes to get it damp like it said on the bottle of the product. I combed through my hair and put argon oil on my hair. When I put a pea size of product in my hands, I was turned off.I rubbed it between my hands and it was incredibly sticky. I really didn't want to put it in my hair but I went with it. I scrunched my hair up and played with it to make it look like I wanted. I went to bed and woke up with the most beautiful beachy waves. A little of this product goes A LONG way. Also I have a bob like hair,so maybe the product works best with shorter hair? I don't know. I am a minimalist and I don't do much with my hair so this makes my life so much easier. The frizz control is true. I was out all day at the Taste of Chicago in crazy humid weather and my waves were perfectly kept ^-^ I'm very happy with this product. By the way, I forgot to mention that I have wavy hair that has no control and thick hair. Hope this helps somebody!!!

Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

I use this with the BB Sea Salt Spray and it does what no other product has ever done for my slick, fine, straight hair. It gives me that "wet/scrunched" look I've only dreamt of that holds (seriously) ALL DAY! I bet it would work well by itself, but I always use the spray first on damp hair, then warm this up in my hands (helps it distribute easier) and put about 5 sm. dollops throughout my hair. You won't need as much if you don't have enough hair for 3 people's heads, like I do. I have VERY straight hair and a lot of it, so I clump up the product-filled sections or hair and clip to my head to air dry while I do my make-up and get dressed, then use a diffuser hair-dryer to finish the job if it's still wet. DO NOT put this on anything but damp, towel-dried hair. It needs that moisture to work properly. It leaves stickiness on your hands after you've applied it, but you can wash it off your hands and once dry on your hair, you won't notice any stickiness anymore. I love it and will be making that my go-to product for scrunchy/all-day styled hair. :)

My hair is fine and thin. I always buy volumizing product to get that fluffy sexy hair I want soooo bad but they never work. But the beach babe line does amazing things for my hair. Who would of thought I just needed a little bit of texture to get that full sexy hair! I use the shampoo and conditioner then use the sea salt spray and the texture cream but I blowdry my hair... I've never let it air dry with the products so I don't how that would turn out. And in between shampoos I use nym volumizing dry shampoo.... I think these product are great... I could go without the coconut smell but it's a small price to pay for hair that looks this good!!!

I really love this product. It smells amazing, I put it on my WET hair and it makes my barely wavy hair look beach sexy! I like this as much as the salt spray which I also use. I do alternate and every other day or so I use the "its a 10 leave in" product to keep my hair from getting too dry. This is a great put it in and go product, doesnt require a lot of styling and smells SO SO SO good!!! I get lots of compliments when I use it!

Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

I love this product! My hair is stick straight and this gave me the waves it lacked. Although it gave me waves, it also gave me knots :( mostly in the back of my head. I only keep buying this product because of how it makes my hair smell and how it gives me the wavy hair I wanted.

horrible product! so sticky and thick and leaves little white balls in ure hair that looks life dandruff....smells really good but then get soo strong u want to throw-up...weighs ure hair down a ton and dries it out soo much that even a week of deep conditioning treatment still leaves it dry..

As soon as I squeezed the tube to get the product I was turned off right away. The cream had some hard little bits in it. Like a face scrub. I have very curly Africian Americian hair and I can see the little bits getting stuck in my hair. NOPE!

Comments about Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream:

I was buying this frequently and LOVED it. I use it daily. Loved the consistency and how it worked on my hair but the formula must have changed because the last time I purchased the cream, it was VERY thick and sticky and I could no longer really feel the gritty texture...not easy to work in my hands, or into my hair. So I had to switch to the spray formula, which seems to work well. I just prefer creams over sprays.
