I've had Chi straightening irons in the past. They've always worked great so when it was time for a new one, I bought this. I was very disappointed. it didn't get very hot and took me about twice as long to straighten my hair as my old one.

Was not impressed with this. I have always heard great things about CHI's and decided the price was right with this one and couldn't wait to have it. I previously had a generic one that lasted 5 1/2 years and worked great; much better than this. This one snagged and pulled my hair and I didn't like that I could not set it to my desired temperature. I returned it and got a Sedu that is great and worth the extra money.

I bought a CHI because my friend recommended the brand. She has one that is 6 years old and still going strong. These new CHI's are nothing like her older one. I was very disappointed in the quality. This seemed cheap compared to hers. When I clamped it together it would slide side to side. I felt like it was something that would break down on me in a few months time so I returned it. I'm have a GHD on the way.
