This is my 2nd Chi straightener from Ulta. I love that it heats up so quickly but I wish it was slightly wider. Also, my first one had to be replaced because the power switch broke off and my new one seems to be designed the same way. Since the first one lasted a few years, I would still say that it is worth the money.

I love this straightener. It worked much faster than the other professional one I have used. It heated up really quickly. My only concern is that there is no heat setting?

I have fine medium to thin blonde hair that is naturally curly. I blow dry my hair every day and then go over with a straight iron to combat frizz. I think it took me an extra 15 minutes with this iron. I don't know why but it didn't seem to help with frizz, kinda made it worse. I wanted to love it so bad and im keeping it as a spare but im not impressed. My sedu is way better, wish I had just bought a new sedu. So now I have a new straightener but I am still using my old one.

LOVE the Chi straightener. I have really thin hair and I can use it every day without damaging my hair. Love the cute design too, and it creates shine and softness without taking volume out of the hair. SUCH an awesome product. Once you go Chi, you'll never get free :)

My previous flat iron died after 5 years and I bought this model as the replacement. While it heats up quickly the temperature it heats to is extremely hot. My previous flat iron allowed you to choose the temperature setting which this model does not. You need to be very quick on pulling this flat iron through your hair as I could see someone easily frying their hair.
