Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30:

I first got a sample of this product and found myself using it every night until it ran out. I purchased the full size and use it every night after I wash with my Clarisonic and every morning before I start putting on my makeup. I never use lotion because I have oily/combo skin as is. I don't like the feeling or greasy-ness of most lotions, but this absorbs fast without leaving a greasy residue on the skin. It works perfect for my winter routine and keeping my skin hydrated. I would definitely recommend! The only con I found is that I couldn't put it close to my eyes or what I like to call my "concealer" area. I guess my skin is too sensitive there and the lotion irritates my eyes if I get it too close. Other than that, I love it!

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30:

I got several free samples from my dermatologist and I was super excited to use this moisturizer for my acne face. However, I was very disappointed. I have very oily skin, and it makes my face even more oily. Thank goodness I didn't have to spend money on it.

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30:

I'm sorry to read that this product has not worked for everyone. However, I can understand that if you're looking for a mattifying product and this one is advertised as one, you will not be satisfied with this moisturizer. I gave up on mattifiers a long time ago, so my aim is to moisturize and sun protection and this product actually works out for both. This is the only moisturizer that does not make me break out, instead, makes my skin soft and moisturized to the point that I'm able to apply makeup easier and looks better when I use Cetaphil. I do not mind the smell but I can imagine that people with scent sensitivities might not like it (I would suggest to try it at the store prior to your purchase). I do have a problem with the price, I do agree that it's way too expensive for a drugstore product. I still have to bite the bullet and try to buy it on specials. No matter what, I still believe in the product and will continue repurchasing until they discontinue it or I find something better.

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30:

It's not that this product smells bad, but it does have a low chemical smell. Nothing that doesn't go away as you do other stuff. It says matte finish and helps with shine-not true. If anything, it adds shine. It has never absorbed quickly onto my facial skin, it always sits there. And when I sweat, the whole thing comes off! In my eyes, off my face, and it hurts if it's near my eyes. It specifically states to avoid your eyes. I only use it at night and never before I leave the house. It does moisturize so there's that...

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30:

I use this as my daytime moisturizer after cleansing with the Cetaphil DermaControl Face Wash. Overall, I like it a lot. I rated it a 4 out of 5 only because if I get it near my eyes, it stings like the dickens! It must be the SPF that irritates me. But I enjoy the way it quickly absorbs into my skin. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy, and it mattifies. It also doesn't feel heavy. I can't speak to the SPF quality - it's Autumn here, so sun exposure isn't much of an issue for the next 5 months!

I started using after getting Pixel laser treatments on my face and other products caused irritation and acne breakout. This product does not do that to me. It's one of few that doesn't.

It took me a while to find an spf moisturizer that wouldn't make my face super greasy. I've tried high end brands & other drugstore brands, but none of them have worked as well as this one. I have combination skin & this is just perfect.

This product is very expensive, but due to my sensitive skin I've been a loyal Cetaphil user for years. I have extremely oily skin espe in my t-zone and I am always looking for something to help with this. This product let me down! My skin did not have a matte finish nor did I see any less shine. I will use this as a night time moisturizer, but for oil control it's a big fail in my opinion.

I've tried a lot of brands but most are too greasy or make me break out (I have acne prone skin) but this one is perfect. It's really light and non-greasy. I wear it to bed and in the morning. It's great for the summer. I've used it during the winter too and it held up.
