As a Mom of two small kids, sometimes--well, MOST of the time, I need to get ready quickly. I usually have to wear my hair up because it is thick and very wavy, it just takes too long to style it (short hair is no easier w my curls and not being able to pull it off my face).
I mostly throw my hair back in an octopus clip or elastic, but I wanted a quick alternative to my usual, basic (aka boring) every day lack of style. This barrette is just what I was looking for! It is detailed and pretty without being "over-the-top", but it can be worn as a nice touch to casual wear or even slightly more dressed-up.
I easily pulled my thick hair back and secured it with ease. Not sure how well it would do on fine hair or silky straight hair, but with thick texture--it's fantastic! I don't have the thickest hair--I guess just a lot of it. I am happy with this purchase!
