My boyfriend is very sensitive to the smell of self tanners. He actually REALLY hates it, so I've been testing out different tanners in an effort to find one that doesn't have that self tanner smell. St Tropez has defintiely been the best one I've tried so far. Once the DHA starts to activate with the body (about 2-3 hrs after application) it still has that stinky smell, but no where near as bad as all of the others. Also, the tan looks the most natural and the most even out of all the brands I've tried. Another plus, the product did not rub off on my clothes. Closest 2nd place is Lorac self TANtalizer. Definitely recommend.

This is the best self-tanner I've ever used. Worked pretty fast; looked like I had a natural tan and I felt and looked great!

I am a fake tan addict. I love the look of a tan, but without the harmful sun. I purchased this product after someone recommended it to me. It smells wonderful and doesn't leave that yucky fake tan smell. It looks natural and even as well. You can not go wrong with this product. It takes about 3 days to start to show some color.

Mistake proof tanning. I use this once or twice a week to maintain the color. It probably takes 3 or 4 uses to establish a tan.

I tried this as an associate suggested the brand to me, but am very disappointed. I've used it everyday for about a month and notice nothing. Will be going back to try something else.

I couldnt believe how quickly this worked. It went on easily just like you put on regular lotion. I had no spots missing color. The tan looks very natural, and is perfect for my face and as a great cover up when i get tan lines. I dont use it every day though, i use it every 3 days and my tan looks awesome. There is no lotion tanner that will ever leave you perfect you just have to be smart about it. Wash the palm of your hands throughally after application and i always use a damp wash cloth (darker color one) and rub it over my wrist ankle and behind my knee, you know all of the places that you usually get build up of product. I saw that other people posted that it smelled bad, i dont think that it does at all, yes you can smell it but this product is not nearly as bad as others like Jergens which i think stinks bad. It does cost more than other gradual tanners but this bottle will last me at least 2 months using it every 3 days. I will be buying this again for sure.

I was talked into this one by a sales associate. I've used St. Tropez before, but never this gradual tan one. At first the smell is bearable, but the usual horrible self-tanner smell sets in after a few hours with very little payoff in color. Then even more annoying after 24 hours of application and showering the next day there was a thin slimy film still left on my body from this lotion. I exfoliated well before applying. The color did not run off, but I'd rather deal with a faster immediate self-tanner than deal with these cons on a daily basis from a gradual one. Skip it and just go for faster versions.
