I was excited to try this but my hair was too thin. My hair is long but cut in layers. So most of my hair slipped right out.
I ended up giving it to my hairdresser and she was very excited to have it.

I bought this to place my waist length hair in a bun to keep it up during our hot, humid, Texas summers. I thought the look of a bun would be cute and effective. I found the product easy to use, my hair is mostly the same length all over, and like the way it looks when up. The only problem is I can't get it to distribute around to the bottom of the bun. The hair just sort of hangs at the bottom, not really in bun shape at all. I fixed this by placing a flower clip at the bottom and it covers up that the bun doesn't go all the way around.
On a different note, I put it on top of my head at night and have a nice curl and bounce to my hair the next morning when I let it down!

It's a very simple concept, however in practice it's a total failure, in my ever so humble opinion. I should have known, but I like gadgets and just had to try it! Serves me right. Two hair pins beat this thing by leaps and bounds!

This product is easy to use. My hair is pretty think & long and this makes really nice, full donut buns. The only con I have is that the ends of the Bend-a-bun do not taper off and are pretty thick making it a little difficult to join the ends together.

Have been looking for a long time for a tool that makes a smooth bun. This ones does it so well, I don't even need to use bobby pins. Directions are easy to follow, helps to put a rubber band around the bun as a finishing touch to keep the hair in place.
