I just wanted a simple waterproof eyeliner. I love the formula, the only problem is it is EXTREMELY difficult to sharpen the plastic.

So...the product is okay. It isn't too smooth, but it stays where you put it. Hooray. When I attempted to sharpen this product, the plastic was extremely tough to get through. The resulting lopsided tip broke off and subsequent attempts to get any product were fraught with the plastic getting stuck and actually pulling the product off the pencil as it sharpened. This is a huge letdown and is definitely getting returned. Waste of time.

The most disappointing thing about this product is that what is at the tip of the pencil is all your are getting, so it is not a great value. There is no sharpening or twisting the end to get more eyeliner. I have also noticed getting smudges under my eyes, which didn't make me happy. It was like using a cheap product when you were first learning to apply makeup.

Love this eyeliner, the consistency and reminds me exactly of the new Rimmel Scandal Eyes waterproof eyeliners. Glides on eyes easily but not extremely soft like Milani Liquif'Eye eyeliner. These are better for everyday and smudging. The grey color is a deep gray. Wish essence would come out with more colors, I'm good on neutral eyeliners.
