The color was a great blend with my skintone and the price was comparable with the normal brand I buy. I purchased this because Ulta was out of my normal Neutrogena. The finish is not matt but rather it is like a silky/shiny finish, one that I am not a fan of. I landed up going buying my tried and true Nutrogena and putting this with my "emergency supplies" as a back up. I am 47 and have no skin issues and do not need a full cover makeup.

I have been using PF products for many years and this powder is by far my favorite. I used to use their liquid foundation with powder over it, but with this power I find I really don't need to use anything else but some concealer. It has excellent coverage without looking caked on! My only complaint (and it may be the brush I am using is wasting product) is that there isn't enough product per container. It only lasted half the time as their other powders, which are the same price. But, since I don't really need to buy liquid foundation, I guess its worth it! Please don't stop making this!!!

3 Words = Best Powder Ever. This stuff is the bomb!!! Ladts all day if used with matching foundation and covers up amazingly!! Please give it a try, you wont regret it! I usually try new powders n foundations but i honestly dont plan on it anytime soon. This is my holy grail powder. 5 stars.

I am a Bare Minerals devotee...but sometimes I just cannot afford to spend $25 on it. I tried this and loved it. It covers really well but doesn't feel heavy. You do have to be careful and blend really well or you can end up looking kind of ashen. The first compact I got was perfect, didn't break etc. I am on #3 and both #2 and #3 have cracked and broken. Not sure why my first one never did. I like to put this over a primer or foundation to smooth everything out. I use medium/deep and it works for me but I definitely think they could come out with more shades.

This powder has such a wonderful light feel and gives an airbrushed look when buffed with a big fluffy brush. When I need a little extra coverage I use a puff to press it. Not a fan of the brush that comes with it. It has worked great with every foundation that I have used and even great alone. The coverage is light to medium. If it became a little cakey, spraying a setting spray calmed it down. My only con is that some have broken easily. I have about 4 right now and one broke into pieces before the box was even opened.

I really liked the liquid form of BB cream Physicians Formula came out with, but wasn't a fan of the packaging -- the formula was very thin and dripped out of the tube a lot. I'm a sucker for powder, so when I found this product I was really excited. I really like how this powder evens my skin tone and it gives decent coverage for me (I prefer sheer to light coverage). It's soft and satiny, almost creamy in texture (possibly why they kept "balm" in the name). Wearing it over tinted moisturizer felt a bit heavy, especially on warmer days. Didn't control shine on my nose (I have oily skin). I like wearing this powder better by itself rather than wearing it over moisturizer or foundation. SPF in a powder might be overkill since most of the moisturizers I use already have SPF in them...but definitely a plus when using it alone. And love that it's paraben-free. Overall, I do really like the effect of the powder, so I'll use it up and probably buy again.

This is one of my favorite products from PF. I also use the Healthy Skin SPF 50 powder. Both I love, and this BB powder (as well as the cream) works perfectly. I keep this powder in my purse as a through-the-day-touch-up/shine control powder and it does the job, as well as it provides great SPF coverage with it's natural SPF ingredients! It's great for the winter (I use the Healthy Skin SPF 50 powder for summer for extra sun protection). Another great ingredient I love in here is the willow bark, which is a natural form of salicylic acid that digs into your pores to help keep them clear - great for acne prone skin. So, not only are you covering and protecting the skin throughout the day, but you are also helping to keep pores clean as well. This is a "must" for my purse and a daily used item.
