Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

I have very sensitive skin, the product works great. I use it underneath my bare minerals foundation. My makeup stays set and looks fresh the entire day. I'm so pleased to have found a nice light weight primer that won't irritate my skin!

Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

I was using MFE high def primer in clear but decided to try Lorac because I love her brand. I would say both primers are comparable but I like Lorac's a little more. The Lorac feels a little more slick going on but you only need a very small amount and it makes my makeup last all day. I use 2 coats of Loreal BB cream as a medium coverage foundation with this Lorac primer and I love it. I don't need powder, just the occasional blot. I have combination skin and it did not make me break out. Not sure what the other reviewer meant about irritating ingredients because my skin is not irritated at all after using it.

Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

This product is wonderful! I use it after I apply my daily moisturizer and my makeup has never looked better, I have been using this product for almost a year now and I can say that it has never caused a breakout or made my skin appear oily. This is a great alternative to a traditional silicone based primer and for those with sensitive skin it is a must have. It is lightweight and non-greasy and makes my makeup application look smooth and poreless. Great product!

Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

I went into Ulta looking for a really good primer for my wedding. I have very sensitive and oily skin. They talked up Tarte's clay primer, so I went with that for a more "finished" look for the wedding. I also purchased the Lorac I'm so Sensitive brand, but for everyday use. The Lorac product is very light, and it does not break me ut at all. I use it with Bare Minerals foundation powder and it does the job. The only bad thing is the price versus how much you get in the bottle. I would not spend $32 on this if I could find another product that works just as well.

Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

This primer is not something worth investing in. Go back to the drug store and I'm sure you'll find one much better.
This primer contains ingredients that are very likely to contribute to acne break outs.
                  This primer contains
Ethylhexyl Palmitate Which is rated 4/5 on a comedogenic scale. It is also the second ingredient, no bueno. It is also an irritant.
The 6th or 7th ingredient is Cetyl Alcohol. Which is rated 5/5 on a comedogenic scale and 2/5 as an irritant.

Those are the top two ingredients, meaning the most used in the product.
Then there is Stearic Acid, Hexylene Glycol, Retinyl Palmitate, and Ascorbyl Palmitate. All rated 2 on a comedogenic scale and some rated 1 as irritants.

This product is actually VERY misleading.
Echinacea Angustifolia Extract, listed at the end of the list is an anti inflammatory meaning it has little effect on the skin after all the irritants they have included in the product.

                  And Fragrance FREE? Hahah, no.
Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, and Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract are BOTH fragrances.

                  Overall:
This product has ingredients that contribute greatly to acne, and does include fragrances. It wouldn't bother me so much if the highly comedogenic ingredients were listed at the bottom ( meaning there is little of it being used. Ingredients listed first are used the most. ) but they are listed at the top.

                  Bottom line:
I did get some small bumps because of it. Paula's choice advises as well that this does not act as a very good primer. Just invest in Smashbox, Bareminerals, or Coverfx as they have little to no irritants and ingredients that are not as comedogenic, the highest being a 2.

Comments about Lorac I'm So Sensitive Soothing Face Primer:

I've been using this primer for about a week now after deciding it was finally time to upgrade my entire skin-care regime. I chose it because it was paraben free and my sensitive skin seems to like that. This primer is great for sensitive skin and does not contribute to breakouts or make my skin feel oily. I've found it to be very long-lasting even after a long day of driving and interviewing! I've been using it with my bare minerals makeup and have seen great results overall. It is a little pricey for my usual makeup budget but I think it may be worth it in the long run!
