To begin, I'm 31 and am just beginning to see laugh lines around my mouth and very fine lines under my eyes when waking up. Apart from that, my skin is still pretty youthful in texture and prone to dryness and I have very fair, uneven skintone that I like to smooth out and acne scarring on my chin. I don't know how this product would work on oily or mature skin, but for my skin, I really enjoy it. I have noticed that I tend to be in the minority when it comes to loving Maybelline bases. They seem to be a bit orange when coming out of the tube but always blend in so well on my skin and brighten me up better than other foundations but still don't look orange or too dark on me. There was a Maybelline mineral liquid foundation that was discontinued that had terrible reviews and it's my favorite base ever. This one blends seamlessly, brightens me up, covers my acne scarring, evens out my skintone and leaves a subtle cooling effect that is quite nice. It lasts for a very long time on me and doesn't dry me out or look cakey after a few hours. I'm glad I tried it!

Maybe I'm spoiled because I have always used Tarte but I needed a cheaper alternative and purchased this product because it's Maybelline. They've never let me down, so it should have been amazing, right? Wrong. I have tried and tried with this foundation. I have applied it directly to my skin. Ugh. It becomes this patchy blob of make-up. So I also tried to mix the product before applying it. Ok that was a little better but don't touch it or try to set it with powder it'll get all flakey. I finally got fed up and just threw the whole bottle away. On the up side if you need some finger paint for your kids this stuff is awesome!

This is my favorite foundation. It goes on very smoothly and blends very easily. The coverage is initially light to medium, but buildable. The finish is soft and natural. My face looks the same at the end of my day as it did in the morning right after application. The foundation does not settle into fine lines or wrinkles. For me, this is my perfect foundation.

Really disappointed....appeared to just sit there and do nothing! It had zero coverage and wish I could return it!

I'm only 30 but feel like many foundations make me look older, this doesn't settle into small creases, and is a light coverage that evens the skin tone without the mask look, it's only been a week, but so far, so good, no breakouts either! I don't feel like it stays on all day, but overall I think it's a nice product.

It was not as good as I hoped. Poor coverage and seems to accent the wrinkles instead of hiding them.
