    MY FAVORITE FOUNDATION

    By kyzizzle

Comments about Rimmel London Match Perfect Foundation:

I was reading some reviews on this products and how it's super heavy and I thought that at first, but it was because I was use a brush! I think the best way to apply this foundation is to use a beauty blender or real techniques sponge. It really thins out the foundation and makes it go on a whole lot easier! I have pretty oily and dry skin, but this foundation works amazing for me! My only compliant is the scent, I don't particularly like it. But overall it's an amazing foundation for the price! Tanya Burr I thank you for recommending this product!

I use my fingers when applying because it's faster. Brushes work well also. Depending on your skin type it can react different. I have combination skin so it can go either way. I also have acne and it does a fairly good job of concealing, but I use concealer and powder on top. Works well with Revlon color stay powder.

Comments about Rimmel London Match Perfect Foundation:

I had heard rimmel was a nice brand so I decide to try this foundation after I ran out of my expensive one to see if i could find a cheap alternative. This was horrible!! It has a terrible heavy scent. It is heavy and made it impossible for my skin to breath, it is extremely thick. I just used my hands to apply but I don't think you'd even be able to use a brush. It was just awful. Only thing not awful about it was that it covers everything but I don't even really like that kind of finish. It makes you look unnatural and greasy.

Comments about Rimmel London Match Perfect Foundation:

I applied this using the Real Techniques buffing brush. It clung badly to the dry patches between my brows and around my nose with or without a hydrating primer and now matter how much or when I applied my moisturizer. I have combination dry skin. The bridge of my nose became oily after a few hours which is normal. But, this made my forehead become very dehydrated and look crepey and wrinkled. I am 21. I have no fine lines at all. Never had a foundation do that before. I didn't even powder heavily. I used the Rommel stay matte powder only in the places I get oil and under mg eyes to set. Very unflattering. Sits very heavily and feels tight on my skin. Accentuated my pores. And the lightest color was still too dark for my NC20 skin.

Comments about Rimmel London Match Perfect Foundation:

This is one of the best foundation purchases I've ever made, and I'm 60+ with a long history of skin problems, including acne and now extremely dry mature skin. Excellent coverage without that "mask" look that's aging and discouraging!!
My only complaint is I'd prefer a pump bottle, but I've been able to "de-cant" Rimmel product into empty glass bottles with pumps for cleanliness and convenience. Great product!!

If you're looking for a cheap fix I'd recommend. However, I prefer my Revlon Colorstay to this any day. I also cannot use it too often or else I will breakout. It does last a good while though! This lasts me 8-10 hours on average, with a primer.
