This is a great product IF you have the time to use it correctly. It comes with two products and a really nice flat iron that has an auto shut off. (Which I love because I always worry about remembering!) The swivel cord is nice. The only con is that you have to use the products and blow dry your hair first which not everyone has the time to do-- but if you do it gives you great results and really saves your hair from damage.

Love this product! I have recently started using it in my own salon for women with brittle and damaged hair and it's been a life saver for them. Many stylists will damage your hair with a high heat flat iron to temporarily give you amazing results that end up with long term damage, but I'm a hair health nut. The spray is great for just blow drying alone and it does a great job of putting moisture back in their hair. Highly recommend.

This is a brilliant idea. I have a flat iron I really like, but I was never really sure if I was using the correct temperature. Having this iron tell me how hot to set it seemed like it would work. It didn't. My hair looked terrible. It wasn't straight or shiny when I finished, just a frizzy mess. Didn't want to find out how long the style would last, because I had to redo it all with my Sedu flat iron. Total junk

I really like it. I was concerned at first with the spray that comes with since my hair is very fine, I thought it would weigh my hair down, but it doesn't. It takes a little getting used to - it's not a wake up and go flat iron - but you're also not melting your hair straight in 30 seconds. - you have to use the products and blow dryer with it but by the time you finish blow drying your hair is almost completley straight. I run the iron once over my hair and it's done. I use the spray and just my blow dryer most days. love it. It does a great job preventing split and dry ends.

I love Coolway, but for me, it is all about the spray. I have pretty wavy hair, which can be exacerbated to extreme curliness due to the humidity of California, so I was super skeptical about the Coolway system when it was given to me as a gift. It seemed too good to be true and anything like that usually fails to live up to one's expectations.

I'll admit that I'm not super crazy about how the straightener feels when I hold it, but I'm biased because I have gotten used to my favorite straightener, so anything else feels off. However, the fact that it a) chooses an appropriate temperature depending on the water content of your hair and b) that temperature never goes above 300 degrees Fahrenheit (essentially reducing the damage your hair undergoes during the straightening process) is a super cool feature. I only wish that it felt as solidly built as my $20 Conair straightener. I do like that it shuts off after several minutes of inactivity (my favorite straightener shuts off after 1 hour).

The spray itself is freakin' great. Sometimes I just use the spray, let my hair mostly airdry, and then use my own straightener (set to the lowest heat setting). The day after styling, my hair still looks pretty good even though I've slept in it (typically half my head is reduced to a curly mess). I've even put my hair up in a ponytail for 8 hours or so after styling and had no ponytail marks in my hair, which for me is unheard of. If I'm out and about, my style usually lasts unless I'm by the beach, in which case it might need to be touched up a bit.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the results. Have I mentioned that I love the spray? It's obviously not the be-all and end-all of hair straightening systems and everybody's hair is different, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

I saw the comment about how you have to use their shampoo and gel and stuff - they don't have any of that from what I see on their website though so I wonder what that person means! You do have to use the conditioner and the spray that come in the box, I know because I didn't at first and the flat iron was cool, how I didn't have to set the temperature, but it didn't do a lot for me. Now that I am using the spray though, my hair feels and looks awesome! It's really smooth and nice, and feels super healthy. I think the products are worth the money, it's not drug store stuff, this is like the stuff you would get in a salon. Love the smell too!

I bought this a week ago and have been loving my hair! I can't stop touching it. It feels so soft, and smells so awesome. You have to use it with the little conditioner, and the thermal protecting type spray, I didn't the first time and it didn't really work, but then I read the instructions and wow. I love that it chooses my temperature for me, and it's only 267 degrees! Ever since that scary video of the girl who burnt her hair off, I am super paranoid. It says it will make my hair healthier - we will see! My hair looks natural and bouncy instead of flat and lifeless. I'm a bit bummed to see that it's on sale now though. Wish I had known it was going on! Also do you guys have a large size of the conditioner? I didn't see it in the store, but my hair worked way better when I used it so I need to get more!

I used it twice and it did not work. YOu have to use two different hair products in your hair first. it does not get hot enough to to straighten your hair. it leaves the hair a little frizzy. not worth the money.

Seemed like a good idea however very expensive. You need to use their hair products for it to work. I have wavy hair and it straightened it really nice however in about 3 hours was getting wavy again. Liked the thought process behind something that would be better on my hair but I am taking it back. Too much hassle to use with all the product that needs to be used in order for it to work properly. Will buy a hot iron and use protective spray instead.

I've only used it once since receiving...It does take some getting used to, but liked my first results. I' m sure it will become easier to use as I get more familiar with using it. I did appreciate how gently it straightens.
