I was a bit sceptical about this after reading the reviews but I love it. My daughter and I both use it she has fine strawberry blond curly/frizzy hair and I have long blond straight but a little frizzy hair. It gets up to the scalp nicely and the heat settings are perfect. It doesn't burn our hair and it smooths and shines it real nice. My daughter uses it easily without burning her forehead. Its a great little tool

I bought this because Hot Tools is a good brand and I really wanted to curl my hair with something smaller than what I have now. Everything I thought about this product was WRONG! I have thin hair and this did not ever straighted my hair. Do not buy this product.

I bought this on Cyber Monday. Thought it would work great since it was only 1/2". Did not keep temperature and hair was not straightened. Used it once, returned it and exchange for a different one.

I have thick hair, so if you do don't buy this. Probably works well on finer hair. It snagged on my hair and ripped some of it out. I returned it. Spent a ton of money on my Sedu, but that was worth every penny.
