I have very thick, coarse hair and live in Southern Florida. The humidity makes my hair have terrible fly-aways. I wanted a mixed bristle brush and this one is fabulous. I love it so much, I tossed all other brushes in the garbage. I no longer have frizzy fly-away hair. The brush grips the hair very well, so drying is very easy.

I have a lot of hair, but it's thin. This brush took hold of my hair and would not let go. I have been using a round brush for years, but not one with the two different kind of bristles. Wanted to try a ceramic brush. I tried it for 3 days, for a few brush strokes per day, thinking maybe there was a learning curve. But after ripping hair out of my head, I decided it wasn't user error. Maybe those with thicker strands of hair would have better luck. I don't know.

I balked a little at the price of this brush,but I am glad I splurged. I have thick hair, shoulder length that I dry and straighten daily. Love that it is so lightweight. It has taken 5-10 minutes off my drying time. That might not seem like a lot but that leaves me 5-10 more to enjoy morning coffee! Be careful around delicate areas, I found it to be a bit harsh especially up top in the forehead area.

Great brush but after three uses with my Babyliss dryer the bristles were singed to half their original length and began to curl.

Love this brush, the only think is that I wish it didn't have the ring on the top side of the handle, sometimes my hair gets tangled in it and it will pull my hair out.
Overall it works great!
