I use this as my second brush just to make my hair shinier and healthier looking. It's not the best for getting out knots and doesn't work well on wet hair. My hair is somewhat in the middle of thick and thin.

Feels really good on the hair and scalp when brushing. Best hair brush I have ever bought. Have been brushing my hair at least 2 times a day and hope it will bring back some of the lost luster. We'll see!!!

I bought this brush after seeing a friends sister had a natural boars bristle brush (she has similar hair as mine - fine, blonde, long). I've been having issues with split ends the last few months and it didnt occur to me that perhaps my brushes were an issue. I purchased this one because it was offered in the store, the bristles seemed sturdy without being too hard and it was a reasonable price. I LOVE this brush! It seems like its helping my hair and scalp so far and all around is a nice brush to use. I would certainly recommend it although if you have thick or curly hair, I'm not sure it would be the best. For thin/fine/straight hair, I see it working better.

I have extremely thick hair, do not feel as if the bristles go through my hair, perhaps this brush is for thinner hair

I couldn't get the bristles through the top layer of my hair. Ended up buying a cheaper brush that I love!

I had read about the benefits of using a boar hair bristle brush from hair stylists. I was excited to find this great looking authentic boar hair brush at such a great price. However, it did not work on my hair. I tried it for several days but it just made my hair a mess with static electricity. Returned to the store hassle free. Might work on some types of hair, but definitely was not good for mine.

Bought this brush for my husband. He had thick hair and wanted a brush that would brush all his hair. With two types of bristles, it hits the spot.
