I bought this natural bristle brush to help my scalp. However, because I have thick hair, the bristles don't get down to my scalp.

Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
I bought one of these many years ago and since bristles had begun to fall out, I decided to replace it. I've kept the old one around because the rough bristles still reach my scalp to distribute oils. The only thing I don't like about the new one is that the ball-tip bristles aren't as rough and don't feel quite as effective. However, my old brush is very old and I'm just used to it. Anyway -- I've stuck with this brush for quite a while and would highly recommend it to anyone with crazy thick curly hair, to get knots out and separate every strand before washing.

I like this brush.
Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
The nylon bristles are not like the picture, they have little balls at the ends of the bristles. I have long hair that is very fine but thick, those little balls on the ends of bristles (on any brush) get caught in my hair. If you are looking for boar bristles mixed with plain nylon and think you finally found it, you will be disappointed.

Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
As I age, my hair is becoming thinner. The brush type I've been using for years no longer works - it's been making my hair look "pieced" and even thinner. It was a world of difference when I started using this hairbrush. It has made my hair look and feel softer - no more "pieced" look - my hair blends nicely now.

Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
I bought this brush thinking that it was all natural bristles. When I got it home and tried it, there are multiple "wire" bristles that feel like steel spikes when I brushed. I used it once, and then returned

Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
Gets the tangles out of my long fine hair without destroying it! If you have thick hair, I think it would only go through the top layer, but on finer hair it works well.

- Thinner Hair
Comments about Hana K. Diamond Wood Boar Bristle Oval Cushion Brush:
Great brush. Love the two different types of bristles. Gets tangles out of long wavy hair and long thin hair nicer than single plastic bristle brushes.
