I bought this product but hadn't used it then I went to my hair dresser and she used it as a stand alone product except for a little pomade and it worked great. I didn't have as much luck getting my hair to do as well but then I admit to not being great at doing my own hair. I thought it was fairly good at controlling frizzy hair which I am overly blessed with.

A friend recommended using Foxy Curls Cream after shampooing and then using Foxy Curls High-Def Curl Spray the next day to freshen the curls. The spray worked well. It is stickier than the cream and could lead to crunchy curls if over-applied. After adding the spray, I misted my waves with water and then dried with my diffuser. However, your curls may perk up with the spray alone and not need the water mist. I suggest getting both products.

This product works great for my hair, and doesn't seem to smell, after its on. But smells horrible as you spray it on!!!!

I have naturally slightly wavy hair with long layers. I have been looking for a product that I could use to enhance the waves without making my hair sticky or crunchy. Something that would leave my hair "touchable".
THIS IS NOT THAT PRODUCT!!!!!!
I bought this at the recommendation of an Ulta salon staff. Big Mistake!
I used this spray on clean damp hair. I spritzed it in and then blowed dried on low while "scrunching" my hair. The first time I used a fair amount. It made my hair instantly feel dry and as the day wore on, it felt like hay. I could not even run my fingers through it. It was like my hair was glued together, and there was NO definition to my waves.
I tried it again, using less product - same result. I let my roommate try it, thinking maybe it was just me... yeah, no - it was worse on her hair as her hair is much longer than mine. She also got no definition to her waves.
Bottom line - a total waste of money. Being a Bed Head product, I expected a much better result. Now it sits on my shelf with my other hair products and never gets used.

I bought this hoping to use it before putting my hair in hot rollers. Instead, I find it better suited to use when wearing my hair curly and in beachy waves. It does help with the hold, but I think the best use is to refresh day old curls. It helps to reactivate the curl without looking too sticky.
