I was really excited to see this product in the store after reading about it in a magazine. I have bangs, but I hate having to go to the hair salon to get them trimmed, especially since I have been growing the rest of my hair out. I thought this product would be a great way to keep my bangs looking chic rather than sloppy.
Unfortunately, this product is much harder to use than you would think. I loved the idea that it had notches in it and was slightly curved in order to achieve a slightly choppy look, BUT, it is practically impossible to hold the clip straight and try to cut into the notches while looking in the mirror. I struggled with it and wound up with very uneven fringe and had to go to the salon to have it fixed. This might work if you have someone else who can do it for you, but that kind of defeats the purpose for me. Had to return it.
Just go to the salon, most places will trim your bangs for free as long as you're a current client!
