I like this iron. It works well and was a good price. I burnt my hand a few times, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. It claims that it is tapered, and it is slightly. However, I do not notice much of this in the curls. That is fine with me though, because the tapered-ness wasn't really a selling point for me.

Perfect for styling fine long hair into nice waves that even form without using additional product. Would advise using the glove enclosed with the iron - easy to burn your hand.

I used to curl my hair with my straightener but it never gave me the look I wanted. This curling wand gives my hair more of a wavy look instead of curly. It's a mixture of both i guess. But i love it! The wand allows the waves/curls to start closer to your scalp. With a regular curling iron or straightener i could never achieve this! I hold each section for 10 seconds at the most and my hair doesn't go limp as it use to with other products.
There is a bit of a learning curve with this iron. i've used it 4 times now and i've gotten it down for the most part. I do not use the glove, too cumbersome. The one heat setting doesn't bother me.
I actually went to the store to buy the orange one and they only had this one which narrows slightly towards the tip but they are very similar. I actually wish they made one with a larger barrel because then it would give me looser waves, maybe a more natural look.

Love this curling iron. Just have to be careful if you don't have the glove on you can burn your hand.

I bought this for my daughter who has wavy hair. We tried it and were pleasantly surprised. It did an amazing job, the curls were great, they lasted all night long, and it didn't take much time. My daughter has since used it for school and her curls lasted all day too. Great buy for the money!! It does get really really hot though which is probably why it comes with the heat glove. Use the glove!

I received this curling wand for christmas and the first time using it I was extremely disappointed. There is no heat settings and the wand gets so hot that I have to wear the protective glove (never had to use one on any other curling iron) or it will burn you very badly! I figured if it could give me a huge welt on my neck after accidently touching it for literally a second, than I cant imagine how badly it is burning my hair. It gave me great curls for sure but to me that is not worth damaging my hair.

i used this as soon as i bought it. Without thinking i didnt wear the heat protecting glove. That ended badly as i burned my hand. a few days ago i burned my ear a little bit. Be very careful if u have not used this kind of product before

I love this product. It is, however, a little challenging to use. Make sure to wear the glove; I burnt my hand. My hair looks great at the end though!

This curling wand is fantastic. My daughter's hair will not hold curl with a regular curling iron but with this tool the curling process is quick and the curl lasts till she washes her hair the next day! Love love love it.
