I did a lot of research before selecting this dryer. I use it about three times a week on my highlighted, fine, long blonde hair. It is a lot faster than my previous dryer - it takes about 10 minutes to dry my whole head now. I love having heat settings that are easy to figure out, and since I'm not a big fan of gadgetry, this simple dryer is perfect. The concentrator nozzle stays on, and i can hold the barrel without issue - this helps me balance out the heavier weight compared to my previous dryer. I have not had any hair sucked into the side vent as other reviewers mentioned - this did happen in my rear-vent dryer all the time. Also helps me add body to my fine hair.

The blow dryer worked well on my hair, but my hand hurt by the time I was only partway done. The switches protude and poke straight into your hand while holding it.

I absolutely love this blow dryer. I did some research before I bought it and everyones reviews were eh.... I took a chance and bought it anyway. Love it! I love the color, it dries my hair quickly, the length of the cord is great and it has nostalgia factor for me. My moms hair dryer was like this when I was growing up. Yellow and everything!!

I've been using the YellowBird for many years now. I like that it has four settings (not the 6 that the description suggests). It's the only hair dryer I've found that gives me the right heat/flow combination for a diffuser. It is a large, heavy dryer, and it gives out after a couple of years, but the options on it make the purchase worth it.
