I don't know why, but it leaves my hair very crunchy if I don't brush it. (so when I use it for curls it leave my pre-curled scrunched hair very crunchy. It also gets my hair really wet, but maybe that's normal..
I think it works fine as of right now aside from those minor confusions/problems.

I just bought a few chi straighteners and decided to get this to protect my hair as recommended by the woman who cuts my hair. It works great and is effective! It does seem to be sticky the second you spray it but all you have to do is use a brush to comb it out and it will be soft! when i run the straightener over my protected hair, it comes out smooth and silky. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is using heat on their hair whether it be a straightener, curler, or blow dryer. Plus it smells great!

I have tried several of these protection sprays & find that many of these products weigh down my hair. However, this product does not seem to do that so I plan to return & purchase a full size bottle.

This product does the job without feeling sticky or stiff. I can flat iron my hair on Monday and it still looks good Tuesday. I can even wash and dry the night before and use the spray the next morning to flat iron and it looks great. First spray I have found that lets me do that. I like that the first ingredient on the list is water. The smell is not objectionable, but it could be better and I have a sensitivity to scents.
