I purchased this product to do my own at-home blowout of my 4a/b type, natural african-american hair. With much success and a hot flat iron, this product is wonderful. However, it does not ward off humidity, with that said, if you go into a humid climate, your hair will NOT remain straightened. I have since had a perm and can't wait to see how the product does on permed hair.

I have very thick, curly hair, which of course makes it dry. I use it when I straighten my hair and when i left it curly, it looks and feels healthy. My husband even uses it in his beard. And it even helps control it. Will contune using this product. Really do love it.

This product smells good. But it feels like the product us watered down. Maybe thats why its cheaper then other. Similar products. Its not one of chi's best products.

I use this with my CHI flat iron and it makes my hair nice and shiny and moisturized! One bottle is enough for a long tme! I use mine every morning and my hair stays great looking for the rest of the day!
