it doesn't do anything, to be quite honest. it's far too smooth to exfoliate and i didn't notice any difference when washing my face with this (versus just my hands). not necessarily bad, just blah.

I have been on a sponge buying spree, trying to find the best sponge to wash my face with. It took a lot of sponges, but this is the BEST by far!! It's soft, but sturdy. The shape is wonderful for cleansing all areas. I'm going to go back and buy all on the shelf just in case you stop carrying them!

No more cloth towels! This is the BEST product that I have ever tried on my face that feels so soft. It rinses out well, keeps its texture and you can use it over and over again. I LOVE the softness against my skin! I'm sorry I get carried away and can't say enough about it. I could write a book on these products and how great they've made me feel!

This really is a gentle sponge. It is easy to clean and not harsh on the face. I cut mine in half. I found it too bulky to use whole.
