Curvaceous Full Swirl Cream-Serum

I have naturally wavy hair and for the longest time I was stuck using "curling" products that only made my hair crunchy (you know what I mean!). I finally found this and it is great for enhancing my natural waves! Doesn't matter if I want to scrunch one day or blow it out the next, this product works double duty.

I went to Ulta looking for DevaCurl products. I was introduced to this line by an Ulta employee. The first attraction was that it was A LOT cheaper than DevaCurl. The employee introduced me to a sytlist in the store that is also natural like myself, because she uses Redken Curvaceous. I purchased the travel size kit and I was pleasantly surprised. I am an African American natural, and this product works great. I have a lot of curl definition and shine after styling. The only down side, is after the Full Swirl Cream-Serum, my curls do not feel soft. I have to follow up with my Giovanni Direct Leave-In. That makes it extremly soft. Other than that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this system and I will be purchasing the full bottles. This is how it works on MY hair. I suggest for anyone to purchase the trial size kit and make your own decision on whether it is good for you. It's definitely worth a try.

I use this in my hair while damp and let it air-dry. It gives me natural looking curls that aren't crunchy. I use it with a spray conditioner.

My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy. I felt by what the product was advertised to do it would be a great fit for me, however I was wrong. My hair remained frizzy and I felt it hard and dry. I will be returning this product and hopefully I will find something that works for me.

I liked it because it enhanced my waves and it left my hair soft. I do still have frizziness but I am in Texas. So I do use paul mitchell's smoothing super skinny serum which leaves it perfect.

This product is light weight. Gives you soft really curly curls without being stiff. It is my favorite product to use when I'm going curly!!!

The product itself was just average. It didn't do anything great for my curls, but the smell was terrible! I was very disappointed and plan to return it!

Put on when my hair is wet. Scrunch. Let sit. The diffuse.

This the first negative comment I have written about the Curvaceous line. I hated this product. It gave my hair a really funny smell that I can't even explain. I see that other people said that it dried out their hair. But for me it didn't do that, it made my hair very greasy and weighed down. Maybe I put to much on, but I thought I didn't. Anyway, I returned it to the store. I saw that Redken had Curvaceous in Ringlet so I bought that, I so love that product. I give this product 1 lip(star), I really didn't want to give it anything though. It was awful for me, but maybe it works for others though.
