Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

What a HUGE disappointment. This is the worst mousse/hair product I have ever tried. I like the Curvaceous shampoo & conditioner and thought I might like the mousse. Wrong! This is Awful stuff! I put a small amount on my hands and they stuck together.. literally.. I had to wash my hands and try again. I put a small bit on my hands, then on my hair and my hands kept sticking to my hair like glue! This stuff is so dense and sticky that it can't be distributed through hair. I don't know how anyone can use this product.. Back to Ulta it will go for a better product..

Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

This product is disgusting and gross. If you have naturally light, bouncy ringlets, this product will destroy your hair. I LOVED the previous Redken mousse; it was light, airy, non-sticky, and you only needed very little. This product stays sticky in your hair all day, even if you only use a dime-sized amount. It is not worth the money. I felt like my hair would attract feathers and leaves on a windy day it was so sticky.

I have tried so many different mousses over my life-time. THIS IS THE WORST. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

I love, love, love this product line. I use a lot of the Redken Curvaceous products including this, the shampoo, the Full Swirl Hair Cream, and the conditioner. This took a bit to get used to. I didn't like it at first and actually stopped using it after a few days, but it made such a difference in my curls, I went back to it. You really can't use much of it. I don't use it at the roots and only use about half of what I normally would when using mousse.

I have always hated my curls becauuse they are not pretty and tend to be frizzy. I just didn't have the right products. I have not straightened my hair in months because of this stuff!

Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

I have repurchased this product again and again. My hair is naturally wavy/curly, but has absolutely no texture. It is extremely fine and most mousse products weigh it down and make it feel crunchy. This mousse does not! It has a very light weight that successfully defines my curls while maintaining some volume. Its texture is almost like a super airy whipped cream - it's not as thick and sticky as other mousses I've tried in the past. After trying numerous hair products through the years that promised the same things this product does, I have finally found the one mousse that holds true to those promises for my hair type. If you are frustrated with fluffy, undefined curls because of superfine, silky-textured hair, give this a try! I never am without it!

Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

My hair is fine and thin. However, my hair has gotten wavier and wavier after having children. Thank you hormones! I used to fight the wave by straightening it with a flat iron every morning. Recently, I've been using all sorts of products to enhance the natural wave and blow drying my hair with a diffuser. This mousse gave my hair the prettiest curl. I have never liked my hair until I used this. It did make my hair a little bit tacky, but I found that the added texture made it appear thicker and fuller-- a bonus in my book. This is the only product I have used that enhanced the wave, gave my hair tons of volume, and did not leave the dreaded crunchy curl look.

I like this product because it does do it's job. It texturizes and builds volume and makes my curls better but I don't like how sticky and tacky it makes my hair feel

Okay the 1st time I bought this mousse I did not care for it and went to return it and talked to one of the associates at the salon. She told me not to use the mousse on the roots and focus more on lower half. I start at 3/4 and go down and comb through and let air dry for a few minutes and then use diffuser and it works much better. I do think you need to use a diffuser with this mousse rather than full air dry. I also do not use much of it like I do with other mousses.

Comments about Redken Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse:

I was looking for a more traditional mousse when I accidentally bought this gem. I have very long, super thick, wavy hair that does not cooperate well.

I apply Curvaceous Wave Ahead Texturizing Mousse to dry hair as I would a traditional mousse (I use mousse for frizz, nothing else), and then brush my hair to distribute the product evenly.

Once the product dries, my hair is left frizz-free and looking crazy good all day long. This product definitely surprised me, and I'm so glad I purchased it.

I went into the store this weekend, and asked for a mousse that would be good for my mostly straight, below the shoulder hair to hold body for when I round brush blow dry. The store associate and salon personnel recommended this! I am baffled. I did a treatment on my hair tonight, and couldn't wait to use it, unfortunately, I had to rewash my hair as soon as it was in. That's the last time I take advice from a sales associate. I should have gone with my gut and tried the Rusk Maximum Volume Mousse

PS: I did comb it through, and it was still disgusting.

Hands down, the WORST thing I have ever put in my hair. I realized it was tacky/gummy feeling about 3 min after I put it on. Left to run errands, and as it dried, it felt so much worse. I was disgusted everytime I touched my hair. It felt like hairspray on a really bad cheap Halloween wig. I couldn't wait to get home and take a shower. How this product made it out of testing and into production is completely beyond me.
