I daily wash my hair that has some curl and likes to wave. Both the shampoo and conditioner keep my hair soft yet easy to style is loose curls. Love the products.
It doesn't foam or suds up, and if you read the bottle you know this, so don't complain about that. However, it does work extremely well on my wavy hair. I can brush it with no problem after washing. I love the fact that Redken has a WHOLE line of products devoted to my hair style!
Pros
- Adds moisture to hair
Cons
- The smell
Best Uses
This product gives my hair type the moisture it needs to end the frizz. I have wavey to curly hair and I get frizzy hair a lot during the winter time, but I also get it other times of the year too. This product just gives enough moisture that it doesn't weigh it down or make it look greasy. The only con though is the smell. It can be strong to people but to me it isn't that strong. I'm giving this product 5 lips(stars) because it is so hard to find hair products that work for me. I'm so grateful for this one. I also us the Shampoo and the Ringlets that is comes in too. Great good Redken!
Based on reviews, I was really hoping this would boost curls in my mainly wavy hair. While it did moisturize and smooth my hair, the cost was less curl. This would probably be great for someone trying to tame down very curly hair.
Pros
- lightweight conditioning
- Non-greasy
Cons
Best Uses
- Conditioning
I have fine, slightly wavy hair. I usually have to coax my hair to be wavy. I liked that this product could be used as a regular conditioner or a leave-in. I used a tiny amount (slightly larger than pea size) for leave-in. It helped detangle, smoothed my hair, and helped define the waves. I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't greasy, and didn't weigh down my fine hair. After trying a number of different Redken conditioners, this is my favorite!
Good for curly hair. Leaves it feeling moisturized.
Pros
- Easy to rinse
- Great smell
- Moisturizing
- Sulfate-free
Cons
Best Uses
I've been using this for a month now and love it! It moisturizes my curls and smells delicious. I've seen a lot of people say the smell of this line is overbearing but it smells really pleasent to me. I like for people to be able to smell my hair when I walk by, and this stuff definitely does the trick!
Pros
- Smells Great
Cons
- Not Rich In Consistency
Best Uses
I purchased this product because it's for curly hair and it smelled great. I used it once but didn't like it's consistency. I like for my conditioners to be thick just because I get a feel that it's helping with moisture and hydration, which I need a lot of with naturally curly hair. If you like more watered down conditioners then this product is good for you.
I bought this so I could refill the smaller bottle and always have some leftover
