Description
Combing head lice and nits out of the hair is the only way to completely eradicate a lice infestation. All lice and nits must be physically removed from the hair so that outbreaks do not re-occur.
  • This Circle of Friends' Lice Defense Elimination Kit includes everything needed to safely and effectively comb away lice and nits.
  • Circle Of Friends' products are NON-TOXIC and are FREE OF PESTICIDES and harsh chemicals, so they are gentle enough to be used by the entire family, as often as required.
  • For your added protection, Circle of Friends Lice Defense products contain Tea Tree, Andiroba and Lavender Oils, which help repel lice naturally.
    These products not sold as a pediculicide.

    Disposable cape - Helps keep everything clean and neat!

    Directions
    Wet hair slightly. Generously apply Lice Defense Combing Cream throughout the hair. Do not rinse. Drape disposable cape over shoulders. Use a wide-tooth comb or brush to remove all tangles. If hair is long, divide it in to small sections using clips or bands to keep sections separated. Use the metal-tooth nit comb (included) to carefully comb hair in each section from scalp to ends. After each stroke through the hair, dip the nit comb in a cup of water to remove lice and nits from the comb. Apply additional Lice Defense Combing Cream to hair, if nit comb does not glide easily. After entire head has been combed, rinse hair with water to remove Combing Cream, then shampoo hair with Lice Defense Shampoo. Place the nit comb in boiling water for 5 minutes. Pour the cup of water with lice and nits down the drain. Wash cup in hot, soapy water. Check hair daily for at least 3 weeks after lice or nits have been found. Repeat the removal process, if necessary.

        We were desperate but didn't have high expectations - tried OTC NIT which left live bugs and nits 24 hours later despite hours of combing and following instructions. This product saved my sanity! The comb it comes with is awesome - long metal teeth very close together which worked 100x better than the plastic nit comb we'd been using. Still a lot of manual labor (applying cream and combing and combing), but it was so much easier and more effective than the OTC stuff and oil treatments we'd used. Removed 90% of nits (the rest we cut out), smells pleasant and not full of chemicals. And there's enough product for at least 2 treatments on shoulder-length curly hair. This is good stuff, even if a little pricey!

            This kit helped us eliminate all the lice and nits in our girls' hair in 4 days, the first application getting rid of 98% of the problem. This wasn't abrasive to out girls' heads, had a pleasant smell, and provided useful information about the issue at hand.
