even though the ulta brand curler does work at curling your eyelashes, it is not the easiest curler to use. This curler may be easier to use on longer lashes, however with my short lashes it was quite a challege to grasp my lashes.

I got this as a free gift. I would not have purchased this otherwise. It is actually not bad for a travel eyelash curler. It works, and since I have flatter Asian eyes, the lack of curve on this due to the need for it to be "compact" works to my advantage. It comes with a replacement pad that stores on the bottom. I would use this for travel or throwing in my purse if I anticipate needing to touch up or if I'm doing makeup on the go. My only gripe is the price for the material. It's plastic and will eventually need to be replaced much more frequently than metal curlers.
