My hair was really damaged from bleaching my hair, the first time I bought the shampoo and conditioner was when it was called smooth down years back and loved it, wanted to give it a try again but Redken changed the formula, but either way its not too much of a drastic change this line has really helped my hair turn from a thick coarse puffball to a much sleeker relaxed look but of course the frizz is still there but helped calm it down a lot so when I do straiten my hair its shiny, sleek, with very little flyaways.

This shampoo has been around for good reason. If used over time, it will actually improve the health of your hair and give it shine and less frizz. It is like food for you hair....and it takes just a tiny amount to use making it economical.

I love this product!! I have naturally wavy hair that has some grey. I was tired of using over the counter shampoo that did not tame the frizz and that left my hair blah. After trying Smooth Lock shampoo and conditioner, my hair is shiny, styles great, and smells good. I would definitely recommend this product!! Paying a little extra for good looking hair is well worth it.

I shampoo once a week and use this in between and it works great with my naturally curly hair. If I need extra moisture I can leave some in for extra moisture.
