It took a long time to,heat up. I tried it anyway, but it took a long time to achieve the wavy look. I took it back and bought the more expensive one for a better temperature control setting.

I was EXTREMELY impressed with this waver!! I decided to go ahead and get it because I had money off and I'm so glad I invested in it! I'm no hair "guru" but this tool was so easy to use and took me 10 minutes to do my whole head! I've fallen in love all over again!!

this was a gift for my daughter. She has pretty long hair and it was still difficult to use. It doesn't give you a lot of waves, even if you hold the iron on your hair.
I would opt for another one if I bought it again.

if you're looking for a crimping iron, here's the thing to get. It looks alright, but takes forever to do. I wish I could use it for school in the morning, but it takes about half an hour just to heat up. And you definitely need to hold the iron on your hair longer than you should have to...the first day I got it, after I finished using it on my hair, I thought I had a severe case of carpel tunnel. Made my hands sore, and its pretty heavy. Overall, not worth it.
