This product works well for my daughter's curly hair. Curly hair tends to lack in moisture, thus I needed products that I could use regularly without weighing her hair down. Carol's Daughter tends to be on the expensive side, thus this starter kit was a good value that allowed me try out the products before investing in the larger containers.

I am african american and have all natural hair that I grew out after a relaxer. I have searched for YEARS for a product that would accentuate my natural wave pattern without the dryness and the flakes. This product is the perfect mix. I use the shampoo and then I part my hair into 12 sections while still damp after towel drying and use the regular moisturizer to each part. I add the curl pudding and twist the 12 sections individually just hanging. I sleep on and voila!...it's pretty curls in the morning. I do add the Carol's Daugheter black vanilla oil spray and a little of the One N Only Argan oil once all curls are fingered through for shine and health. I spray the black vanilla all over and it's beautiful. If you want more of sassy curly look, once curls are twisted get those bendy rods curl the twists around the bendy rods and you will rock! I love it....I am now officially.....sold! LOL

Great product for curly multiracial hair. I used them all! Better than deva curl and mixed chicks. Very gentle, not sticky and does not leave white flakes after a day. Leaves curls bouncy and defined. I purchased the sample/travel pack and to see how I liked it and I will be going back to purchase the full sizes!
