I use this in the morning after my sunscreen. It has a cream-to-powder finish. It does not control my oil entirely, but it helps. This product has a ph range effective to act as an exfoliant and it contains no alcohol like many other bha products. I don't like the unnecessary fragrance added and prefer a bigger size. I'd give it a 8/10.

It's a shame that this is titled an oil absorbing treatment. All salicylic acid products have some oil absorbing properties. However, not all salicylic acid products are the same; many also include skin irritants or have a pH that are too high to make them function work well. (Why manufacturers make shoddy products is beyond me.)
What this product DOES work wonderfully at, is as a beta hydroxy acid, or an exfoliant for both the skin surface and the gunk inside pores.
I use this product religiously, morning and evening, and it has greatly reduced my scattered blackheads, and all but eliminated my acne. It has also made my skin much smoother and softer. Any time I feel lazy and consider skipping this step in my routine, I think about how much better my skin looks and feels and that's enough motivation for me!
This product outshines many more expensive exfoliants, so it's a great bargain.

This is a great product that is fairly inexpensive and very effective. The only drawback is the smell, as it contains fragrance which is unnecessary.

I have oily skin and rather than go to a department store and pay high dollar for somehting that works, this product is reasonable and it works! Doesn't get any better than that. Plus I'm always trying products for better results and it can get expensive, so to purchase something at this price and it works it worth it!

I love Clean and Clear products in general. I use their acne cleansers and treatments and they work wonderfully. This product was also supposed to control oil--it really didn't control oil at all. It's basically just another salycilic product. I was disappointed in the oil control part, but will use for the medicated benefits it offers.
