The top shadows are matte and 2 are a little chalky (hard to get the product on my brush and even harder to get it on my lid), but maybe I just got a bad batch. The bottom shadows are shimmer and the pigmentation is fantastic for all of these. All the shadows last all day (I use them with the ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer).
Note: the Deep Purple almost looks like black on my lids, maybe bc of my skin tone? (similar to Eva Mendes's skin tone)

I bought this for my 16 year old daughter who had been wanting this for awhile. She uses it everyday for work, school, and going out. The colors are varied and versatile and awesome. The primer sample that came with it keeps the shadows on all day without creasing. She had tried a pricey eye shadow primer from another brand and she says this one from Lorac blows that one away.

All shades are VERY pigmented. My favorites are the matte because they are creamy and pigmented, which is hard to find along with amazing shimmery shades in the same palette. I will definately be repurchasing and buying other lorac palettes.

This is my favorite palette of all the sets of eyeshadows that I own. They go on smooth and make my green eyes pop. There are matte and shimmery shades and all are very wearable. This is a collection that I would wear for a very long time and will probably invest in another set of this to have for the future. I also like the primer.

I just LOVE this palette, it is my favorite of all time. The eye shadows are half shimmery and half matte. You can create any natural or smokey look with this palette. The eye shadows are so pigmented, it feels like butter and they blend so nicely. Since they are very pigmented there is a fall out, but is not bad at all. Because of that palette I got addicted to Lorac products. It is so worth the price.

I absolutely love this palette from Lorac. I had never tried any of their eye shadow before and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I had always been an Urban Decay Naked 2 girl, had I say. This is my most reached for eye shadow palette. Love that there are both matte and shimmery shades. I love the variety of colors. Enough here to create any kind of look. The shadows are so smooth and creamy. It is a joy to use them. Also, the eye primer that came with this palette is pretty awesome. I haven't tried many other primers but this is definitely the best I've used. I may even purchase it when I run out.

I bought this after seeing it on so many beauty blogs. I really like Lorac eyeshadows. They are almost creamy, blend-able and very pigmented. I love the combination of matte and shimmer shades. However, I didn't keep this for two reasons. One, the fall-out from the shimmer shades was pretty bad. Secondly, I am very fair skinned, cool-toned, blue eyed brunette and I just didn't love all the colors. Brown tones have a tendency to look yellow or dirty on me. Mauve/pinky colors make me look tired. And, I confess, I own a lot of eyeshadow already. I gave this to my Mom who is a couple shades darker than me. She loves it and it looks amazing on her. She is a light skinned, green eyed blonde who loves the smoky eye. I think this would be great for a starter or classic palette.

I debated getting this because I have THE other palette and didn't think this was necessary. So glad I got this, it's now my favorite. The mix of matte and shimmery colors, and every last color is wearable making this just a truly incredible item. The shadows are very pigmented and silky, I can't sing its praises enough, this is actually my first lorac purchase surprisingly, and I adore it.
