Thought I'd give this a try for shine control. Not impressed at all. It has a horrible smell, does not apply on well, and the worst thing is it doesn't control shine! It made me more shiny and oily within a few hours of application. Only thing I am pleased with is the color match but that doesn't outweigh all the cons I just listed.

I have combination/oily skin, and this foundation made my skin extra oily. It only lasted a couple hours on my skin, and that was with powder and a finishing spray. I have dry/normal cheeks and it did not even last for more than 3 hours on those areas.
The texture is kind of gritty. It feels like there are tiny little granules in the formula. It's not that evident, but it is definitely not smooth.
It is not a particularly lightweight foundation. The formula is not very thick, but it feels slightly heavy on the skin and that contributes to the oiliness.
Sadly, I don't think I have anything good to say about this foundation.

I'm a fan of several Neutrogena products so I thought I would try this one. I have dry combination skin. I apply moisturizer and primer before applying this foundation. The foundation was such a weird consistency! It never set right; always streaky and cakey. I applied in several different ways hoping to make it work (sponge, brush, fingers). The only positive thing I have to say about this foundation is the color was perfect for my skin tone (super pale with red cheeks). But overall, I do NOT recommend this product unless you want to look like a fake, made up doll.

The only good thing about this stuff is that it's easy to apply. Horrible covergage, makes my skin look blotchy and doesnt stay on. Dont waste your money on this crud.

I like the finish of Neutrogena Healthy Skin but it has no lasting power on me because I am oily, so I thought I would try this. I read the reviews beforehand so I knew that a lot of people were disappointed in this product but I decided to give it a fair shot. The bad reviews ended up being pretty accurate. I didn't mind the thicker consistancy as it seemed to blend well, and it does have a gritty-type texture although that didn't bother me either. It simply does not keep a matte finish and breaks down quickly. After a few hours at work, the coverage is gone and all I'm left with is terrible looking make-up that I wish I could wash off. Looks great at first but quickly goes down-hill. It may work for people with less oily skin though.

Did not keep a matte finish as expected. I had shine a couple hours later. Product is very thick without a significant payoff, besides breakouts.
