Scalp Recovery Soothing Serum

I have tried so many different products for my dry, flaky scalp I thought nothing would ever help it. Then I found this product. Before using this my scalp was in such bad condition that I had open wounds and scabs on top of the normal itching and flaking. After just two days of using this I could tell a huge difference in the condition of my scalp. The wounds were starting to heal from being properly moisturized and from me not scratching since it really did control the itch! I love this product, I'm so glad that I decided to try it. I think my only complaint would be that if you try to use it on a day you plan on styling you hair, it will make the hair close to where you used the cream look greasy since there is just no way to use this product and not get it on your hair.

Yes this product it thick, but it really works. If you have a dry, flaky, itchy scalp but love wearing those 3-6 month sew ins this is the BEST product for your scalp. If your sew in is done correctly and your braids are neat and even OCCASIONALLY apply this serum to your scalp or your weave cap and it will make it to the scalp. I have HORRIBLE flakes and dry scalp and this protected my scalp for six months while I was wearing an expensive nice weave.

The directions say to use a few times a day, as needed to relieve itch but there is NO way you could apply this "serum" without turning your head into a greasy mess. The product is as thick as hand lotion, I first put it on after a shower, and you need to really rub it in. It went everywhere, more onto my hair than scalp. The only good thing I can say it that when applied to wet hair it only weighed it down a little once dry. When applied to dry hair it looks like you just rubbed lotion into your roots, so unless you plan to wash/wet your hair 3 times a day avoid this product. Unfortunately it is not powerful enough to be effective with a single application a day. I will be returning this product.
