I think the pump might have a defect. I am having trouble getting it to work. Might be taking it back to ulta to trade out and see if that is the problem.
Use before blow dry
Don't let hair dry after spraying on. Hurry and style hair. When applying heat, product smells like stinky feet.

I use nioxin root lifter on blow dryed hair by spraying at the root of each section prior to using a curling iron. My hair is thin and fine and goes flat when I don't use root lifter. I can't be without it!

I've purchased Nioxin products years ago and remember them being quite good, however, I'm not thrilled with the root lifter. I think I'll have to go back to a previous product which gives better results.

Just spray onto clean damp roots and blow dry hair in opposite direction. Really adds volume a fluff to hair. My hair started shedding and thinning after being hospitalized. Nioxin products have helped to add volume. I still use this root lifter now, even though my hair hair has grown back.
