Nioxin Thickening Spray is a volumizing spray that adds volume, body and texture for thicker-looking hair without buildup on the scalp and hair. (6.8 oz)

Technologies:

BioAMP with cystine amino acids, and lightweight conditioning and treatment ingredients. Helps provide thicker-looking hair by increasing the fullness of each hair strand, and reducing hair loss through strengthening against damage and breakage.

Directions

Spray throughout clean damp hair, root to ends, and comb through. Style as usual.

Potential Health Effects:

Eye: Contact may cause mild, transient irritation. Some redness and/or stinging may occur.

Skin: Not expected to be irritating, sensitizing, photoallergenic or phototoxic when used as intended. If irritation occurs following intended use or prolonged contact it is expected to be mild and transient.

Inhalation: Not expected to be irritating to the respiratory system. Not volatile therefore limited inhalation exposure anticipated.

Lighly spray your damp hair and let set for a few minutes. Then dry and style. Volume stays all day and it is so light weight.

This was a mistake

I picked this up by mistake. The bottle is identical to Nioxin "spray gel" which I think is the best product for my hair that I have ever come across. The cap on the thickening spray is white and the one on the spray gel is blue but otherwise bottles and prices are identical.

I have been using the Nioxin 2 system for about 2 months and am really satisfied with how my hair has thickened and is growing faster (it seems!). I am 58 and have thinning fine hair. This product thickens my hair and it feels like each strand is thicker. It lasts all day! You can spray it on dry hair or damp before drying.

Helps me "spread out" my hair

Good stuff. My hair is thinning but still dark brown, which means that my scalp really shines through the thin patches! This product helps me spread out my hair so that the thin patches are a lot less obvious. I use about 7 spritzes and comb it through with a broad tooth comb (important step). I then blow it dry as normal. I have a lot more good-hair days since I started using this.

I have used this product in the past and was happy with it. My hair felt and looked fuller. I had no problems. That is why I purchased it again, and I am questioning if this was just a bad bottle?
I am going to try and take back to Ulta and see if they will exchange. I already threw away the receipt because I didn't think I would need it!!

Best Uses

Nioxin is an excellent hair care product and I have been using the shampoo and scalp therapy for over 17 years. However, I am getting older and my hair is beginning to thin. I have a lot of fine hair and hair spray just can't help hold a curl. This product adds volume and body and I received compliments on my hair the first day I used the product.
