Two to three years ago I started having seasonal itchy dry scalp problems. Every winter as the air would start to get dry, the problem would worsen and become almost unbearable by January and February. My scalp was so itchy that it would become inflamed and even get small scabs in some places from my scratching. This was accompanied by significant hair loss especially around the hairline. I tried everything but nothing worked. This year I went to my doctor who told me to try a dandruff shampoo. I had tried dandruff shampoos before and they had not worked and actually made it worse. I had used other Nioxin products before and really liked them. They were great for my hair but did nothing for this condition during the seasonal outbreaks. So I decided to try their scalp recovery shampoo and conditioner. Within three weeks of daily shampoo with this product the itching had completely stopped as well as the flakes. My hair has now grown back and I lose very little hair when I wash my hair. I now don't use anything else. I love this product.

Absolutely the only thing that has gotten rid of the itch! Totally worth the money. I have tried Selsun Blue, Head and Shoulders, Neutragena, etc. this is the only product that has helped.
I have probably tried every shampoo treatment there is to help with irritation, flaking, dandruff etc. and nothing so far has given me as good results as this product. It is truly AMAZING!!! I am happy I found it because all my problems are solved. It is a light cleanser for the hair that is weightless and most importantly treats the scalp. I cannot live without this product.

I was turned on to Nioxin by my stylist, loved the way it left my hair, then I discovered Scalp Recovery, since I started using this product my scalp is super clean and my hair is healthy. I use this every time I wash my hair.
I have had scalp issues for awhile (including dry, itch, flaky scalp) and had use regular nioxin products awhile back and saw great results. This is even better than that! I haven't had flakes since I started using the product a few monthes back!
