Didn't work for me

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

I purchased this because a lot of the reviews for this product said it was great on dry skin. For me it was way too heavy and clung to my dry patches. It also got cakey and separated on my fine lines around my eyes (I'm 31, so my fine lines are very fine) making them look like full-on wrinkles! I actually hadn't noticed these lines until I tried this product which was kind of a bummer! I tried it a few times and it just didn't work for me, ended up returning it.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

I've tried many drugstore and a few high-end foundations in the search for something that looks natural, yet will stay on my oily face.
This is the best I've found so far. It's a nice matte finish. Stays all day.
The problems with this are the stupid packaging (awkward, breakable, and NOT travel friendly), difficult to get a light coverage, and you're not getting much product for your money.

Overall, would recommend to anyone with oily skin.

        great full coverage product

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

This product is great full coverage, I like to put a thin layer on with my fingers in the t-zone and blend out, then use a stipple brush for any areas I would like additional coverage. It is long lasting and a great texture.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

Overall I have been pretty satisfied with this product. I have been on the hunt for a matte finish drugstore foundation for a while now and this one comes in at the top of my list so far. I find that this causes way fewer breakouts that Revlon's original colorstay oil free liquid foundation (which only took 3 days of wear before it started causing major breakouts). I also like that it doesn't have SPF in it so it doesn't cause any white-cast in photos. Stays matte throughout the day and lasts really well.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

Okay let me start by saying I have tried TONS of foundations. I mean TONS. I have very bad skin--Acne, scarring, large pores, oiliness AND dryness around the nose and eyes. I also have lots of hyper-pigmentation, etc. Makeup does NOT last long on me unless I over apply and use 10 different products and scrub and whatever before application. Most foundations are too oily or too drying or just become blotchy or don't match my pale skin w/ yellow undertones. For a long time I used true match in w1. w2 was too dark but w1 was still too light and didn't blend as well as I'd hoped, always making me look...ashy? It never lasted long on my skin and didn't cover enough and always transferred.

This stuff though--wow. I wasn't expecting much. I had used similar gel/mousse type things before and didn't like how they looked or felt on my skin. I first bought this at a near by drug store on sale and swatched two colours, Ivory and Buff. Ivory was far too pink so I ran with buff even though in the jar it looks dark. It's PERFECT on my face. It blends sooooo well and if I wash with Noxzema, follow with st. ives collagen moisturizer and then apply this, I don't even need a primer. Which is like oh my lord when it comes to my skin. A lot of people are saying its thick, greasy, etc. You do NOT need a lot. When I first used it I used WAY too much and it felt awful. Then I tried using tiny bits and just building from there and it was wonderful. I do not use anything but my fingers for application. I follow with pressed powder foundation using a damp BB to slightly blend or just finish with loose powder if I don't want total coverage. After that, normal routine follows.

I can safely say this makeup lasts at least 8 hours with minimal oil breakthrough. I honestly didn't think a foundation could last that long on me and it has really changed my makeup. I could see how for some people it could be too 'sticky' if you're used to thinner foundations. It does have a slight dewy finish if not set with powder but if you have dryer skin that could be a good thing.
It is a little pricey for the less than one ounce, but it's great if you find it for 40% off or have one of ULTA's coupons. I bought a jar over a month ago and with near daily use, still have enough for two months left I think so it'll last a while if you are easy on how much you use. Give it a try if you're on the fence--ULTA's return policy is awesome!

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup:

I was really disappointed in this foundation. I had done a lot of research before buying it because I was switching to something new. There were a lot of good reviews and seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It is really difficult to apply. It doesn't spread easily and it's really wet for a long time after applying. It does make every flaw on my face more noticeable. It's heavy and sticky.
