I got this product as a free sample, and overall it worked pretty well. It did keep my eye shadow from creasing all day which was nice. However, it makes my eye shadow 'flake' a little throughout the day and I have to touch up with my fingers or a tissue. I think this is because the product is more creamy and silky, which for my oily complexion is not the best. I prefer the dryer, tacky texture of Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I don't experience the 'flaking' with Too Faced. I would recommend Tarte's eye primer to people with dryer complexions and eyelids. Don't get me wrong, this product worked great, just not for my skin type.
