I have honestly been using this product for 30+ years, ever since a stylist used it on my hair when I was a teenager! I've seen packaging changes, prices increase (still definitely worth every cent), but best of all, its now much more widely available. My hair is not quite shoulder length and pretty fine and I apply this gel to the just the roots when it's towel dried. It's never too heavy, like some gels weigh your hair down, and its not sticky nor does it dry out my hair like alcohol based products often do. Its the perfect amount of hold, regardless of if I let my hair air dry or decide to blow dry. I'm surprised that some reviewers disliked the (fresh and pleasant)scent. For a product to stay around for over 3 decades and still get kudos, what does that tell you?! And I am NOT one to write reviews, but this deserves one. You won't be disappointed with any KMS products!

Apply to roots only after towel-drying still damp hair. This gives lift to lazy hair. I've used this stuff since the days of big hair. Really works well for flat hair.

This works good if kept on the roots. I originally spread it thoughtout my wet hair - from roots to tips. It dried out the tips and they were hard to style - kind of stiff'ish. Now I only massage it into the roots of my wet hair and it gives them body and lift and I can style my hair easily. Don't use A LOT if blow drying and styling. If styling and drip dry - this will work well for all over use.

I have used this gel for many years and have never been disappointed. Just takes small amount to keep hair manageable or to just scrunch and let it air dry. Would just like to get some better coupons since I used so much...

fIRST I USE THIS PRODUCT ON MY WET HAIR - BLOW DRY AND THEN I USE IT AGAIN TO STYLE MY HAIR!

I love this product and drive 25 minutes to the store that carries it. Wish I could get it somewhere closer, but until then I will drive the distance.
