My hair is really long and thick and I am prone to major static issues, especially in the winter due to added dryness. I read online that brushes with plastic bristles could be adding to the problem, so I began to look for a brush that reduces static. I purchased this one, which is made from bamboo, and I did notice a reduction in static! It was smaller than my previous brush, but I ended up loving the size, as it fits better in my bag when travelling. Overall, great purchase and would recommend for others who are looking to reduce static.

My hair is longer than shoulder lenght, thick and wavy. This brush did not smooth the hair- it seemed to make more tangles as I brushed, and pulled hair out of my head. My daughter tried it (also longer hair) and had the same result. Might be better for very short hair.

I try to brush at least 100 strokes a day with this brush. Love it!

I purchased this because the plastic bristles on other brushes always melt from my blow dryer. I thought I would try wooden bristles instead and it has been a great success!

I was looking for a replacement for my current bamboo brush which is 15 years old. I forgot my brush does not have the balls at the end of the bristle and bought this brush that does. Ugh! The balls at the end do not feel good on your scalp and catch the hair. If you want a bamboo bristle brush, which feels wonderful, look for the ones without the ball at the end of the bristle. I wish I could return this!

This brush is the best I've ever owned. I use it everyday. It doesn't pull your hair out as badly as some. I found out about the brand from the salon I use. It makes the hair look healthier. I would recommend it to anyone.
