My husband and two boys use this hair gel only. It holds their spikes all day, even through strenuous exercise (jui jit su, soccer, hockey, etc.). and without melting and running in their eyes. My only caution with using this is that it needs to be washed out very well and not left in overnight. It will dry hair out pretty quickly and if you have even moderately dry hair, can cause dandruff if not consistently washed out same day. Again, more of a caution to staying on top of the young ones using it. Also, it dries quick, so when you put it in your hands to use, you will want to move quickly to get it in place.
