What is great about this product is that it gives your hair great definition. I use this product for my twists out. The product has a slight overpowering smell, but I have learned to love it! It is defintely worth the results.

A little goes a long way! It smells amazing and does add shine but do not use for a daily moisturizer it will only weigh hair down.

I applied this to my hair while it was wet and let it air dry. There was very little breakage as it was braided and it held the style longer.

Okay well I have been a CD fan for over a decade but i have never used any of her hair products. I am currently transitioning, i am 5 months post relaxer i guess you can say my hair texture is a 4 something lol. The smell is strong but I actually like it and it does go away over time. I used this to set my hair with some flex rods. Let me tell you my hair feels soooo soft and my new growth my fingers glide right through. Now i did not use this on freshly washed hair. I had already washed my hair three days prior to use, i sectioned my hair into four parts, spritzed with water and applied the HHB (a little goes a long way), rolled and the results were amazing i can only imagine what this will do on freshly washed hair. Would definitely recommend.

I have tried other products by Carol's Daughter and they are fine. I've only used this product twice - it did add sheen to my hair, but because I could smell the scent all day long, I have not used it again. If it were not for the scent, I would give this a "5". I'm not sure what creates this scent in the Healthy Hair Butter, but I do not like it at all. I'm going to return the product and hopefully exchange it for something else.

I use this product after I wash with a no poo shampoo and condition with CD black vanilla smoothie. I simply section my hair and pull the hair butter through with my fingers then brush with my Denman. I will admit that it does smell similar to Vicks but it doesn't take long before you don't notice.

The product is not bad, its actually good. My hair stays soft and shiney. Use the product sparely on your hair because too much could cause your hair to become weighed down. The prodcuts smells ok, not that great but not bad either. I used this product for when I blow dried my hair it made my hair shine. I flat ironed my hair without reapplying the product because the effect of the product last for a few days. My hair stays smooth and shiney. But to sum it up good product but doesnt smell that great.
